Bought an iPad 10.5 Air. After reading many reviews I have come to the conclusion that there is no such thing as a perfect lid, but I have to say that this lid is as close to perfect as it gets. I've read many concerns about the glass of the iPad not being protected when the lid is closed on the keyboard. To protect the glass I use the styrofoam sheet that came with the other product. You can use a thin kitchen towel and get the same results. The weight of the keyboard can be 4 ounces. This is a far cry from a standard keyboard. It's magnetic. At home and in the office, I leave it attached to the outside of the lid for easy portability. When I travel I carry it in a separate sleeve in my backpack. Its light weight makes it easy to carry as it can be carried in the same case with other more fragile items. It took me a month to read every product review and decide on this case and keyboard. It was worth reading.
