I think I have odd tastes and I think they go great with my rustic wooden dining table. I got them because the seat can be adjusted very high. The dining table is a little higher than I would like, so these chairs put me exactly where the guests should be. Don't you hate it when you're sitting at a table and it's up to your chest? lol. These are cheap chairs but still strong enough to get the job done. The seat and backrest are quite small compared to regular task chairs, so check the measurements. The microfiber lining is nice. Please note that you can adjust both the height of the seat and the height of the armrests. You can easily adjust the backrest inwards and outwards. And of course they rotate and roll on rollers. But the typical range of adjustment you find on most office chairs isn't there. We find them comfortable with decent back support, but that's an individual thing. A typical rubbish handbook with poor tiny illustrations is included. It was important to me to watch the associated construction videos. Once I figured it out, assembly wasn't difficult.
