I want to believe

I am obsessed with the concept of this cable so as a courtesy I have only added one more star because the company itself has a positive reputation and there is nothing misleading here. Their lines tend to be quite stiff, but I expect a high level of durability from their equipment. Some guitar cables won't withstand being run over by a small car, but the CableCreation version can withstand being run over by a very large car multiple times. Obviously this cable isn't for testing, although I confess I'm curious as to what it is. could endure. The wire on this cable has a matte, flat finish, but is a little stiffer than I would expect based on typical twisted rubber guitar cables you may have seen before. In terms of rigidity, it is similar to an optical cable but slightly thinner. It's essentially a headphone cable, though, so I didn't have the same expectations. I'm just wondering if I would bend it at a sharp angle in the area after stopping the spool, it would damage it or even just break it. I hope not, but I won't risk it. In its current form this is a very handy cable as it tucks away when unplugged leaving a much shorter cable dangling from your car stereo, headphones etc or whatever device you are using it with. I actually use it in my music gear to connect a pocket-sized Monotron synth to a compact mixer. The mixer has gold connectors and this cable has gold ends which gives me a lot of confidence as it's one of the few cables I have to plug and unplug when transporting my gear. Good thing you don't have to tie that cord. I just pull it out of one device and it jumps into the area of my setup where the other device is. That's exactly what I needed, a coiled stereo cable with 1/8" gold tip. I suspect there's an advantage to being so rigid, but who knows? Keep in mind I haven't had this in a very long time so I don't know how it holds up over time. There's absolutely no hiss or crackle at the moment, and the sound quality leaves nothing to be desired for an inexperienced ear like mine.
