We chose them for several reasons: we wanted the odd 2/3 and 3/4 cup sizes; We wanted easy identification of cup size and longer handles for older hands. They met all of these criteria. The only issue we have is that the longer handles cause the mugs to fall off when stored and get in the way of other items. Our solution was to put them in a custard cup that keeps them upright. We're willing to put up with that because otherwise they're great. It would be great if the next generation of measuring cups were a bit heavier in the "measure" aspect to eliminate this problem.
