Review on Saicoo DOD Military USB Common Access CAC Smart Card Reader - Mac OS & Windows (Vertical Version) by Alton Walton

I bought this to take advantage of the PKI infrastructure for secure access and digital signature. The app I used for the necessary middleware to enable browser authentication. The driver provided did not allow the browser interface to read information from the inserted card. The instructions state that when the card is read, the LED will change color to blue. Mine doesn't. I requested a replacement from Revain because I couldn't read the card and the LED wouldn't read the card (every card I've tried). The replacement device I received behaved slightly differently; The LED didn't change color but it was blinking and with the driver/middleware application I was able to use the card certificate in the browser and authenticate to the web service. I've only used it a couple of times and it works fine after my initial setup issue and possibly a faulty device.
