This is a cheap product at a low price so given the cost it is quite normal. By "self-aligning" they mean the zinc will flow as soon as you insert the shaft, tighten the set screws, and then bolt the unit on. Soft and weak, it should not be used at high speed or in other stressful situations. If you buy them, be prepared to clean up any excess zinc batter that may have spilled from the waffle iron used to make the flanges.
