Disappointing experience.

Item arrived inoperative. I contacted the seller who said they tested it and it worked before sending it out. Took it to a repair shop; The technician said that this particular brand of VCRs is notorious for its poor design and the problems it causes users. Said the repair cost would be more than buying a new VCR/DVR. I would definitely not recommend this device to anyone.
