Good matte finish, a few application tips and one minor complaint.

Overall Impression: - I am very happy with my purchase, it was easy to install and provides good screen protection. The matte finish is nice and reminiscent of the old Apple PowerBook G4 laptops with a matte screen. It reduces glare well and is significantly less prone to streaks than before. One issue I suspected might be encountered is that color and line clarity is slightly washed out, while lighter colors show some pixelation/grain; At first I thought it might bother me, but after a week I stopped noticing it - instead I noticed that all the other laptops' glossy screens look a lot dimmer than mine. Unexpected Bonus: There was a very slight "etch" on my screen. That; all these traces disappeared together with the protective film and did not blister. The reason I needed a screen protector was because I noticed the keyboard was starting to leave faint square marks on the screen that couldn't be removed. Usage Notes: 1. Make sure your screen is really clean before use. I wiped it down with a damp microfiber to remove fingerprints and smudges, then dried it to remove the dust. Also do this on a hard surface, e.g. B. a table that you also dusted (this reduces atmospheric dust on the screen that you just cleaned). 2. Cover the screen with a screen protector to make sure they are aligned properly, then gently tape the top corners of the protector and wrap the tape around the top cover of the laptop (creating a sort of hinge to hold the to hold alignment in place ).3. Lift the aligned tread and remove new dust. remove from the screen with compressed air and remove the protective film from side 1 and then place it on the screen. Try to start from the top down to avoid big bubbles in the middle of the screen. Then remove any remaining bubbles with a scraper, what they are 4. Then remove the tape you used to line the protective sheet along with "Side 2" of the protective sheet. of the original screen is still exposed in breadth and width. th and length.
