Review on Silicone Measuring Cups Resin Kit by Nicole Mcleod

Hands Down the Best

I bought another brand of silicone cups after being concerned about the amount of mess I create using plastic cups for my resin projects. Then I went through a whole bunch of paper towels, Brillo pads, and alcohol, trying my best to get the tar out of my cups. I even attempted to scrape off the dried bits with my weeding tools and a precision knife, resulting in skin adhesions, cuts, and silicon cracks. I finally gave up on this brand and after looking closely at the designs of other styles on here I settled on this brand. That changes life! First, the measurement is now very easy. Measurement lines are the easiest to read as this line has a "window" that makes the markings on the mug much more visible than other styles I've tried or looked at. No more guessing or decanting into individual measuring cups. Second, the feel of the silicone is amazing. Although highly malleable for easy resin removal, it is firm and will not fall off or tend to deteriorate when liquid resin is used. All remaining pieces are torn off with tape; I save the vinyl scraps and masking tape from the glass and recycle them to separate the resin pieces. Fourth, the stirrers are superior to anything I've used in the past. Easy to handle with arthritic hands, and the resin flakes off once it dries. Will definitely buy this line again to have a better backup. Finally there is something that makes my cleaning a breeze!
