Once you've put on a ratchet strap, you probably don't want to go back to a regular strap with its widely spaced adjustment holes. So I was expecting good results from this ratchet strap but ended up throwing it away. Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not include instructions on how to cut the belt. So I cut off more than I needed without compensating for the distance between the finished end of the strap and the ratchet section. As a result, the buckle strap was too tight. I also found that the buckle release lever had a sharp edge and it was very difficult to release the buckle. This is very bad, because the skin is beautiful, the color is beautiful, and the buckle is strong and attractive. The belt also comes in an attractive gift box. I have several suggestions: 1) that the manufacturer place a sizing mark on the back of the belt so users can make an accurate cut; 2) Try on the belt before cutting it and measure the excess length before cutting it; 3) that the manufacturer included sizing and might cut better than my number 2. Anyway, I had to toss this strap into a round file after messing it up. With a little care, others may not suffer the same fate.
