I ordered this waterproof trench coat from BGSD in black in size XS. For reference, I am 5'5" tall and weigh 97 pounds. My measurements are 33" bust, 24" waist and 34" hips. The coat fits perfectly. I had no problem with it being too tight around my chest, arms or shoulders. You could easily wear other clothes underneath. It also sits well on the waist and hips. He had quite a bit of fabric around his waist as the fabric didn't "roll up" when wearing a belt. The amount of fabric at the hips and hem of the coat is ideal as it doesn't stretch or puff like A-line garments (such as the Mary Poppin coat). As this coat is a longer double breasted trench coat I didn't find too much of the material used for this style of coat. The seam was clean and tight with no protruding threads. The buttons are also firmly sewn on. The coat is fully lined. This is a very well made, high quality raincoat. I could play a lot less for another coat from another seller but I doubt it would even come close to the quality of this BGSD coat. I'd rather spend more money on a good quality coat than less on an inferior coat. One look at this coat speaks volumes about its quality and craftsmanship. This BGSD coat looks very expensive and looks like you spent money on it. Result. This coat does not look cheap because it is neither cheap nor cheap. So if you are looking for a quality coat that is exceptionally well made. Get that trench BGSD! You will not regret it! Highly recommended!
