I love to spoil my niece, but I'm more interested in finding a hobby that she can really get excited about. She is 6 years old and she just lacks attention or interest and doesn't really enjoy learning rules or following directions. So, without any pressure, guilt or anything negative, I just gave her something from time to time to see if something really makes her happy and engages her enough that she wants to study and focus. . I tried archery and many other sports, painting and various handicrafts, tried several instruments, encouraged singing and learned dance routines. Nothing will hold their attention for longer than a few minutes. I don't want to force anything on her, I just hope that she finds something that promotes her ability to learn and concentrate. So here we are with the camera. I don't think she understands that she can take photos and videos yet, but we are working on some ideas. She seems to like the idea of putting on a small show. She doesn't really have options for this little camera but I do and I think if she honestly tries she can use it and figure out how it works pretty quickly. It's cute and she likes small paw prints. A big plus for me is that it feels pretty solid. She can be a bit sloppy, and besides, she's my relative, so she has the clumsy gene too. Lol I'll update this review if anything goes wrong but it doesn't seem to be happening.
