I don't understand why this product has so many good reviews. This purchase was very disappointing. Each sponge lasts about 2 weeks. We wash all dishes by hand so that they are useful. We use Kirkland dishwashing liquid. There were reviews that the soap is too hard for a sponge, so the sponge deteriorates. We switched to Palmolive and the sponge broke anyway. It's not worth the money, it's falling apart and little bits of sponge are flying all over the place. It was stuck in my pan (next to the screws) and when I boiled the eggs and ate it, there was a piece of biscuit in it.
