This almost solid red tie is a glossy, almost fire engine red color that makes a black, grey, blue or navy suit stand out like no other color (at least not for all). There is a small diagonal stripe pattern but it is of the same color material so it is barely noticeable from a distance but very attractive up close. The tie is sewn well enough to make more complex and challenging knots, giving peace of mind to folks like me who prefer the Eldridge knot.
