It was much more profitable than buying glue and foil set separately. The instructions are clear and the app is very simple. My only mistake was that I applied too much glue. I think I was afraid it wouldn't stick if it wasn't applied generously, but a thin coat - the same amount as any polish would be applied - would actually suffice. As a result, the nail was significantly thicker than its non-foil counterparts, but it was still beautiful. As long as you don't expect your first app to be absolutely perfect, this set will keep you happy. Applying the film itself requires care when laying and wiping. Remember the foil is thin so place it carefully and make sure it covers the entire nail without wrinkles, then rub it with your finger first. I also used a sponge-tipped eyeshadow applicator but still lost some of my first slide. I would have bought it if there wasn't so much glue in the kit. Now I can buy as much foil as I want.
