I've been using this pet stand for about two years now. It was easy to assemble and made a great device. I used it as a two tier unit with one tank on top and one on the bottom. I have several problems using it this way. The main problem from my personal point of view is that since the age of seventy I have found it difficult to bend down to work on the lower tank. For a young person this may not be such a big problem. A more serious problem is that the distance between the floor and the bottom shelf is only two inches. That's enough for things to slip or roll under it, but not enough to be easily reached and removed, cleaned, or vacuumed. In future installations I will use the bottom shelf for storage and space for the canister filter. Other than that, this is a great stand and I would recommend it to any aquarist or reptile owner. I like that it's a simple design with little embellishment. The emphasis in your setup should be on what's in the tank, not what's underneath.
