Review on Flyboys SG_B01DAMTSX4_US Mapstrap by Blake Mannasseh

I bought this strap to comfortably hold a checklist on top of my leg while sitting in the left hand seat. I don't really like knee pads as they always get in the way of other things, but having my emergency checklist handy is very valuable. I also have a Flyboys knee pad which I wear when not in the left hand seat and it is good quality. This harness does exactly what it was made for, but it's not the right size for everyone! If you're a skinny-legged pilot, then anything can work just fine anyway. However, this is not the case and I didn't like that my blood circulation was cut off. However, there is an easy and cheap fix - Michael's sells Velcro for about $6 for a 6" x 4" pack. I cut it in two strips as shown in the photo and now it's very handy.
