Good but absorbent
These boards are thick and strong. Of course it won't go wrong. They are cut evenly and cleanly. Just be prepared to apply 3 coats of acrylic paint to get a uniform base coat. The first layer really penetrates the wood and looks streaky. In the image I've attached you can see a gray panel with a primer and a painting with three light green primers and paint on top.
