When I bought my first Nintendo DS controller for over $100 I thought it would be durable, just like their NES systems, boy was I wrong. Now stop it, the games and controller work great, I play them for hours, but it's the little things that give me problems. The weakest parts are the hinges/axles of the units. After a few hours of play, the axles on the new pivots broke, so I had to order replacements. No problem, right? Wrong, these parts do NOT come with instructions from Ant to replace them. And the $50-$100 fee for sending the DS in for repair has been eliminated. But I still did it myself. Replacement hinges have been working for several months so I'm satisfied.
