I thought it was a trip when we bought this mouse for our son's scaling class but seriously there is no sound from the mouse. We've had it from a few weeks to a month and there have been no problems. However, we try to disable it when not in use. The packaging was a bit of a surprise as it came in a flimsy, flimsy box and the materials seem pretty cheap, but so far everything is working great. son is super happy.
