This works well, and though it is collapsible, it’s sturdy when extended and locked in place. The pincers can be rotated (pull up, twist, then lock in place) so can be used either vertically or horizontally, depending upon your need. There’s a small magnet on the end of one of the pincers, a small hook/knob on the other. The magnet isn’t very strong, I wasn’t able to pick up my keys, but for something very light, it works. The hook, if you can maneuver it into place, will work on something like a keyring. The silicone pads on the inside of the pincers help keep items from slipping.Overall, a pretty good grabber and one that I’m sure I’ll find I use often.
