The weave easily gets worn and frayed wherever one of these shoes may come into contact with other surfaces. I've got loose threads or bits of fabric poking out on the toes and heels of both shoes, after only a couple visits to a water park.In addition, the inner soles aren't attached, and I've found that the sole is prone to shifting inside of one shoe, making that shoe very uncomfortable to walk in, occasionally.I can't in good conscience recommend these shoes if you'd pay more than a couple of dollars for them. These are shoes you won't be using for years, most likely.But I will say, in their favour, that these shoes do hold up well in chlorinated water; It's not uncommon for water shoes to almost melt in pool water, but the dark blue woven shoes I got don't seem to get any worse for wear from just being in a pool.
