Some of these products claim that they will not work with Artisan printers which have the cartridges inserted into the head through a flexible tube instead of sitting on top. Chapter. This kit says it works on Artisan printers. It didn't work on mine. Warning: I used FantasyBuy CIS (Continuous Ink Supply System). Also, sometimes my printer is not used for 10 days. My Artisan 730 failed to print on about a third of the light magenta nozzles. I have been using this product for over two weeks following the directions. Three days later I tested the printer again. The problem hasn't improved. I tried to introduce PiezoFlush. I tried to enter Windex. I wiped a damp paper towel under my head to make it easier to clean. I noticed many colors other than the red liquid dripping onto the paper towel over time. About 10 days later I reinstalled the CIS cartridges and tried to print. The printhead moved as if it were printing, but no ink came out. I tried to print a six color test page, about 30 copies. Not a drop of ink on them except for a small black spot in one corner. The CIS ink may have clogged the heads beyond repair. The CIS cartridge may have clogged in the 10 days that it has not been in the printer. The fluid supply in the printer lines may have put too much pressure on the printhead, causing it to fail. I don't know what's wrong, but I can't recommend this product for a tube fed printhead like the Artisan. This may work best when the cartridges are inserted directly into the printhead. Two helpful things I learned: 1. Kirkland brand towels are the right size to fold in half without being cut and they don't fall apart. 2. Work on a suitable work surface. I couldn't see it, but the liquid ran onto the sponges and eventually onto the furniture. The surface of the wood bubbled. Fortunately, the new Epson WF-4630 hides this.
