I read so many reviews and actually bought a separate fan as a replacement (I was afraid it wouldn't work). I also have to tell you that I don't usually write reviews, but I felt I had to for this item. (Photos are attached to my hand for size reference.) *** It's MUCH BETTER than I expected! *** Maybe people are very picky about the noise level or other things, but I can tell you that I work in a quiet office (cabin) and it doesn't bother anyone. - The noise is no louder than someone walking past my desk. - The amount of air it releases is AMAZING and I will be buying an extra one. for my home - The length is longer than I thought it would be and the cord stays bent in whatever position I place it. (except that I feel stupid). The only downside I see with this is that the flashing/flashing words are a little distracting and I need to find a way to remove them. I know other users have posted a link to the program in their reviews, I just couldn't download it. The fan came with a mini CD but my computer doesn't have a CD/DVD drive so it's useless. I'll probably download the program and find a way to disable the words. In my office/professional environment words are probably not acceptable so this is the ONLY negative point I see with this purchase. I love it! Glad I found it!
