Ok they asked me to test it 8 times so here it is

Didn't work so I returned it. I'm not sure why and I didn't take the time to figure out how to attach it as it seemed like forcing it would damage the connection in my radio. I ended up buying a couple of these connectors and adding them to the other end of the cable. This solved my problem.
