Bright light clock with many LED colors

My context of use is for my 6 year old daughter who needs light before bedtime. We don't use the alarm function yet. To set the time, you need to connect the gizmo and go under the clock. That's easy. The time is clearly visible. There's no way to adjust the clock's brightness, but you can change the format from 12-hour to 24-hour. I would say the level is ok not too bright if you sleep and still see it during the day. Timer: I don't like that the timer function (e.g. the light should go out after 30 minutes) is also still under the light. This means my 6 year old cannot easily do this without risking the lamp falling. On/Off: This is confusing. There is only one button at the top. One click on, one click off. So far it's easy. But if you adjust it with a long press, you can change the color: great. But once you're under a specific color, turning it on and off is confusing. I still haven't figured out how to turn it off without going back to white and off. So if you need to reopen a specific color, you have to click + long click + click many times to go back to the color. Overall: I think this is a good lamp but the controls could be improved. I'm not sure if the alarm is easy to set and I haven't tried it because I'm afraid I'll have a hard time turning it off. The light is great for kids because it's not glass so I figure even if it falls 1-2 feet it won't break. The brightness of the light is high and depending on the intensity, it can cover the whole room or only part of it. Although some improvements can be made, the product works as advertised.
