I am a woman with wide legs. I wear 9-9/12 in Keens and 9WW in SAS. I was going to use them as slippers with very thick wool socks so figured a men's size for width would work. The sandals I have have adjustable velcro. Size 7 fits me perfectly, both with and without socks. The lower part of the upper is padded for extra comfort. And my feet are now warmer than in Keane or shearling shoes. Nothing compares to thick wool socks.
