I have used Aim Plain Gel for most of my adult life. I decided to buy this "whitening" formula simply because I could get an economical six pack. I wasn't sure if I would like the add-ons, but after the first use or two I don't notice a difference. I am not mistaken that this will actually make your teeth whiter. If you want to whiten your teeth a little and maintain really good oral hygiene, rinse your mouth with concentrated hydrogen peroxide after brushing your teeth. Sure, it lathers a bit, but it kills bacteria, and that's a SMALL PART of the cost of mouthwashes. I can relieve a sore throat in a day or two by gargling with a concentrated solution of H2O2 (peroxide).
