Review on Chezmoi Collection 3 Piece Pintuck Comforter Bedding by Jayt Shields

I partly have to blame myself for buying this blanket. I saw mixed reviews but most of the reviews said it was decent for the price and I trusted it. I wasn't looking for premium bedding but something simple and appropriate for the moment. I expected to get the maximum of what I saw in the photo but I didn't. Instead of a "tuck" blanket, I got something with torn threads and a drop-down filler. The material is EXTREMELY thin - even if it had drop padding the comforter would still be incredibly thin, which is not what is shown in the picture. Maybe I just got a defective blanket, I don't know. I will definitely return this. It's a shame because it looks good in the picture, but I think pictures like this can be deceiving. Again, I know it was cheap and I wasn't expecting the most elaborate and best made quilt in the world - I just expected what I saw and didn't get it. I see some reviews that say it's what you pay for, but it really is NOT worth the price it's priced for! I can buy a $20 blanket elsewhere and get better quality - which I probably should have done in the first place. Still, it is deceptive and shameful for the seller to post photos they take and send something that doesn't look like them. They look like the picture. now, if only the linens. Can't comment on the bed skirt - I didn't even bother to look at it. But please trust me when I say she's not worth it. Don't waste money. Now I'm sitting here needing time to return it to the UPS location, wait for a refund and then buy something else that I won't have if I want to. Again, I can blame some of this - I think that's what you get when you buy online, the possibility of sellers lying.
