I needed a way to present several different dishes together on an appetizer tray at a neighborhood lunch. That was excellent. Because each section is a separate piece, there was no risk of the olives' juice spilling into the roasted peppers or pickled vegetables – all of which have a very distinct flavor. It was also easy to put each section in a plastic bag for fridge storage without taking up much space. The handles on the wicker tray were an unexpected convenience for which I was grateful.
