Yes, comes folded but creases are smoothed out instantly. And yes, it does get dirty easily as it has an almost magnetic material that attracts fine particles and a bit of lint. I don't recommend it for infinity shots or when a perfectly white, flat background is needed. It was perfect for a makeshift studio where I needed a somewhat smooth, clean white background.
