I've been using hard mat since 2004 mainly when playing FPS games, with G502 etc. My last mouse pad was another 'more popular' brand, no name mentioned. It has worn out over the years. I've replaced it with a Seihoo mouse pad and to be honest I can't tell any difference so far, other than it scratches a little easier. I've been using it for 9 months now and apart from a few scuffs it tracks my movements with no problems. Summary: Good enough for the price, lasts long if cleaned (no abrasives or harsh chemicals) before each play session.
