Significantly larger than expected and much thinner/inferior foam than expected. I've found that only one size (the smallest) is useful to me, and yet I don't fully trust it to protect this lens. You should look elsewhere if you're using prime lenses or short-throw zoom lenses. If you are an extreme user of telephoto lenses for bird watching, sports or whatever, if you are trying to carry 300mm or 400mm lenses then you might find more use for them. For the average hobbyist or portrait photographer, this set is unlikely to be useful. For the price I don't mind much, I've seen several options for just a lens at or above this price. See if it works for you, it's a good deal anyway even if you can only use a sachet or two.
