I came across this cake stand and knew I had to have it. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised. I loved the gold color and how heavy it is (not flimsy or cheap). Although I haven't assembled it yet, it looks quite easy. Instructions are included in the packaging. The records were individually wrapped to protect them from scratches and stains. Washing before use is always recommended, but I don't think you're going to want to clean with harsh chemicals. It probably also makes sense to dry it right away so as not to spoil the finish. I'm so happy to use it. You can use it for any party or holiday. Cupcakes or biscuits look very nice on this decorative cake stand.
