Love the shape and design
So I bought the beech "C” shaped hooks. I sanded them down some and then stained them using the same stain as my mud room bench so that they could match. I installed directly into wood so I didn’t need the drywall anchors.After installing, these were ok. Pulling down on the hooks, they were sturdy. But if, for example, you place a book bag on the hook and go to lift it off, the hook would move up/come off with it. I don’t have any intentions of removing these hooks so I just glued them down with some wood glue.Overall, I love the look of these hooks and I like that it gives you "2 hooks in 1”.
- Looks cool sturdy if you install it correctly
- The hooks may not be sturdy enough to hold heavier items, such as winter coats or bags, leading to potential damage or falls
