I was given my grandmother's jewlery which included tons of eclectic earrings she collected over the years. I had this item in my cart for a few weeks while I looked for the best option to store her pieces. I read and re-read the description and understood it would include the full set or a lid at the least (hoping for a cover to keep the dust away) which led me to purchase. I was disappointed when I received just the earring tray and planned on returning until I took it out and inspected the amazing quality. Next thing I know, I'm putting the jewlery in it. It had the perfect amount of compartments for both of our earrings to fit and looks so nice in order by color. That's all it took for me to love it and decide to keep it. I plan on purchasing the rest of the set over time- I could see it being something I can build on and lasting long enough to be given to my future granddaughter, along with the contents. Only thing I would change/suggest for single tray purchases is maybe including a cloth cover or something for the price JUST to keep dust off for folks like me who can only purchase piece by piece. For now, the lid to an old perfume set box works!
