I think to start with I'm a woman and bought this wax because of unaesthetic flyaways on my face and neck. I usually use Nair but decided to give this product a try. I was generally discouraged from getting involved with wax, but this was different. First, you don't need wax strips. This is a plus. All you need is a warmer (I bought a tabletop coffee/tea cup warmer - a candle and wax warmer - which by the way is a lot cheaper than buying a real wax warmer) and a couple of applicators. I left the wax on the heater for about an hour, and once I felt the wax had melted enough below the surface, I pressed one side to reveal the melted wax. This is a very flexible wax. He fits in well. All you need is a thin layer, but it's a bit thick. Warm toffee consistency. After it cools enough to remove it from the skin, the consistency becomes hard chewing gum. Hard enough to remove from the body but not super hard. There is pain associated with any type of waxing, so if pain isn't for you, buy a pain relief spray. I will say this: After using it, my skin became absolutely smooth and clean. worth your money. It's a bit messy, but cleans up quite easily. The cleaning consists of extremely cold water to harden the wax, after which the wax should rise fairly easily. All in all I am very satisfied with this purchase.
