Review on πŸ’¦ Efficient Water Refiller: AutoAQUA Smart ATO Lite SATO-280P Micro Automatic Top Off Dual Sensor System Water Level Controller with Pump by Jimmy Moreland

Revainrating 1 out of 5

I just lost over 100 different corals?

Worked great for about 6 days. Today he emptied my tank into my tank. There was no power outage or anything else that would drive him crazy. Thank goodness I keep my water 4 inches below the top rim as it can't fill enough to wreck my house. The QST or whatever it's called needs to be filled because I didn't get an alarm or shutdown and it would take quite a while to empty my tank. At least 200-300 times longer than for one cast. The fish is dead but there are no expensive fish there, coral loss can cost 5 digits. The reservoir is very poor in nutrients and the sensor is still shiny. If I manage to save the coral and it doesn't do it again I will update the rating for another star but at this point I don't think the safety features are real and I will have to implement my own secondary function to failover the cut off power supply if this happens. goes through the sensor. That should make the aquarium easier, not take longer than topping up water yourself. Update: Most of the corals survived but they tried again 4 days later. Again, no conditions to cause anything weird. I installed a large float valve at the outlet. Walked into my office with a pump trying to shut off a closed valve. I have no idea how long it's been running, but it may have been trying to overflow for hours. This time I was ready and the salinity was tolerable. I'll just cut out the controller and use the Arduino.

Pros
