I have two cats who insist on courting my attention when I'm working on my Mac and hang around too often playing with things on my desk when I'm taking a break from my mouse . Twice I found my very expensive wireless mouse on the carpet and most notably a cat with a guilty (not) expression on her face. According to her, my desk isn't big enough for her and my stuff at the same time, so for her convenience, she'll just put my gear on the floor under her desk without further ado. This hard case makes their toy mouse too big and heavy to practice their kicks off the table, so it's the perfect protection for them. Finally! She pushed it aside, of course, to make room for her soccer practice alongside my other stuff and papers. Sigh. At least no more starts and collecting dust and cat hair for my mouse.
