When I first got the fan it only ran at 2 speeds so I thought it was broken. I contacted the seller who told me I need a more powerful outlet. I looked at the brick I was using and it was 5V1A, a bit small but that's what I grabbed. So I searched and found another one that was 5v 2A and of course I have all 3 speeds now. To be honest a low setting is all you need if you keep it on your desk to keep you cool as it moves a lot of air and is pretty quiet. Higher speeds move a lot more air at the expense of noise. But like I said, low is quiet for dash and moves a lot of air.
