This portfolio is attractive and seems to be well made. I like the "weathered" look and feel of the leather. I was a little concerned at first because I could barely get my Surface Book into the pocket. I thought this portfolio was perhaps really made for the Air.but they figured they could sell it for the SB also. It does fit my Air just fine, but, like I said, it was a really tight fit for my SB. After using it for a few weeks it seems to have loosened up just a tad. It's still a tight fit for the SB, but I don't feel like I have to force it into the pocket now. It doesn't fit in the pocket with the pen attached to the side of the SB.not easily, anyway. Maybe that'll change over time if it loosens up just a bit more. It does have pen pockets, so that's not a big deal. It also has business card holders and another zippered pocket for miscellaneous items.not big enough for a mouse or anything like that. I'm an engineer and I put a small, flat scale in the pocket, some colored pens, and other small items. It's nice that it will hold a note pad.either bound on the left side (like a notebook) or bound at the top (like a legal pad). This is a very nice portfolio and meets my needs just fine.
