I ordered these hoping they would work with my Logitech USB headset. But that's not the case. The reason for the 3 star rating is that the problem isn't with the ports but with what I'm trying to use them with. The headset I use requires power because the headset has a mute button and volume control. And there is a red LED that lights up when the headphones are connected to the computer. These audio jack connectors and all audio jack connectors do not supply power. So the volume and other controls don't get the power they normally get from USB when using these connectors. As a result, the headset is not receiving audio and the microphone is not working. These ports are likely to work fine with the correct type of USB audio device. So I leave the plugs. You never know when I might need them.
