I have that and a Dowan oil container. I wanted to try a free knife on this one and it looked a bit bigger. To be honest, if you leave the butter like I did (yes it's safe as long as you use the butter for a reasonable amount of time. People have been using butter for centuries before refrigerating. No need to worry) and the butter is soft enough to render the knife useless. If you're the type of person who insists on refrigerating butter or takes a long time to use it, I can see how great a knife would be. This butter container wasn't much bigger than a Dowan (I was going to make four sticks or two Kerry Gold sticks) and none of them fit four sticks or Kerry Gold firms, once they were soft I could crush them and they would fit just fine . My only criticism of this dish is that the pressure is super mediocre. Dowan tops this one in print quality and ceramic quality, meaning this dish is totally normal and I enjoy using it. for regular oil and Dowan for my Kerry Gold (great oil - it actually has a nice buttery flavor but I digress). For the price and the knife that comes with it, this is a good little oiler. I'm happy with the purchase but if you want a tighter closure then the Dowan is for you.
