Review on πŸŽ’ Durable and Lightweight CALACH Crossbody Backpacks for Everyday Use by Tom Ball

Great backpack for travel

Bought this backpack to pack and take with me on holiday to England. I was trying to find a small, lightweight backpack that would also fit an extra shirt and other essentials, but that would also fit my luggage so it wouldn't be seen as my personal item on our flight (that's why I wanted one slightly larger backpack). After a lot of research and thought, I chose this because it can be folded into itself. Bottom line: I highly recommend this product. It was perfect. I took the advice and as an extra precaution put Scotchgard on my backpack when it arrived. Whilst in England we often got light rain and a few occasions heavy rain. Everything was nice and dry inside. It's light but comfortable and can hold a surprising amount of stuff. I used to carry my passport wallet in the inside zip pocket. Then the map, sunglasses, umbrella and other small items, and then you can easily put down the scarf layer and just put it in the flexible bag. You can also put a 16 ounce water bottle in the outside pocket. The downside is there is no rain/security guard on the zips but I held it up in front of a crowd and my wallet was in so no worries. And with Scotchguard I've personally never had any problems with water. Another "con" is that you can't switch the strap on either side like many other bags, but I personally had no problem adjusting to my options, and for me the packability of this bag was worth the sacrifice . I've only used it for one trip but that was 10 days of daily use walking, commuting etc. I'm also careful with my stuff so I tried not to be TOO rough with it. But, as they say, no questions asked. It held everything I could fit in, including small groceries from the store, everything was dry, and when not in use it took up maybe the size of a decent wallet in my luggage. Take a moment to understand the assembly process. It took me maybe two tries and a few moments to look at the manufacturer's photos, but once I did it was a breeze. It takes a few times to fold it inside out, then fold the inside pocket inside out, etc. But it's very quick and efficient once you have it. It could be a bit more durable, maybe a few more pockets or features, but if you want a small, compact backpack that still holds a lot and is comfortable, I highly recommend it.

Pros
  • EXCELLENT QUALITY. The foldable backpack is made of high quality 300D snow canvas, wear-resistant, durable and long-lasting. The zippers on the top and front of the foldable backpack have the same abrasion resistance as SBS metal for increased durability and provide a superior hiking and travel experience.
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
