Too many fragments of the lid will cause leakage
Although the outside of the jar is solid, the top lid leaves a lot to be desired. The lid is literally four pieces that don't stick well together. After using it for work today, I unscrewed the lid and it fell to pieces. What I really HATE about this thermos is that it pops out. It has holes around the perimeter under the pop-up that are not visible. When I don't hold it just right due to too many openings. runs down my face. No, a major design flaw. I prefer a lid where it only slides for one opening. I do not recommend!
