Review on ๐Ÿš— Milton S-504 Analog Tire Inflator with Pressure Gauge, 15" Hose Straight Head Air Chuck (Made In USA) - Optimal Range: 10-160 PSI by James Broome

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Replaced dual head liner

I recently uninflated two car tires. I used a cheap dual head pump cartridge. The night before I was about to go on a trip, my tires were a bit low; So I only got more frustrated with the situation. Well what the hell is going on? Suddenly I can't inflate two tires anymore, but the other two get air as normal. It's not something I can just let go of. Was it a tire valve? air compressor? Cartridge? Lots of failed attempts and I only lost air, now the two tires were very soft. It's 9:15 p.m. and I need a tire salesman. Luckily I found one of these open (Tire Kingdom) until 10pm and drove carefully with two soft tires (19psi). The manager was helpful. He had no problem getting air in the two problem tires. I noticed that he used a head directly on the cartridge with a built-in pressure gauge. He listened to my story and realized the problem was with the cartridge I wanted to use at home. I wasted no time in buying a Milton 504 and tried it out as soon as it got to me. I like it, it works, it should last a long time. I don't know if the gauge is accurate, it reads 4 pounds less than the dial I have, but who can tell which is correct.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
