Review on Logitech Backlit Mechanical Keyboard Passthrough by Stanislaw Kalinowski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like everything, the quality is good, the price is reasonable.

This keyboard has a more pleasant feel to it than its predecessor, the G213, which I did not care for at all. Generally speaking, quite elegant, and of very good quality. When you try to move the keyboard even a little bit, for instance, the current design feature that runs along the perimeter of the keyboard, which is an aluminum rib, often sticks unpleasantly into your hand, which spoils the pleasant sense of working with it. Logitech, as usual, ruins everything with a single insignificant detail. That they have now done everything with mice only with side keys exactly in the region where my thumb rests, meaning that I either need a keyboard that does not have a long shift, or I need to switch to something else. There are indeed gaming mice available, and for only 10,000 you can have one in which the side buttons may be swapped with dice. Thanks, but no thanks; I'll just buy the remaining Logitech G100 components off of eBay.

Pros
  • Design, weight — ensures stability when placed on the table, and quality. Traditional design (long shift on the left, double-decker enter) and no RGB lights, for which you pay several thousand dollars more than necessary.
Cons
  • Expensive, the illumination at low brightness levels has a low hertz like older monitors (which causes strain on your eyes), the edges are sharp, the spacebar spring rings for a long time after being pressed, and the keyboard is generally noisy.
