My daughter is 10 months old, 30 inches tall and weighs 21 pounds. I ordered a large size. Perfect fit, there is still room to grow. After washing I did not sit down, I aired and dried it, so I'm not sure how it will be after drying. The material is very soft and feels comfortable. I'm glad I chose him. Choice between Bert's Bees and Halo. I previously ordered a plus size halo when she was 7 months old and it fit well even after it shrunk, so I decided to try something else. I prefer Burt's bees. I wish they were in XL
