This was a hot question I had when I took the chance and bought this. First, it's beautifully built and very gift-wrapped. My first impression was: beautiful, luxurious and high quality. Second impression: It doesn't look like my silk pillowcase. Now I know it's lower in Mama, but it's also a different weave. So I did a little research and found out that Soie Silk is a filament silk as stated on the label. He is known for his strength. It is also made from twill fabric which also offers durability. Since the usual use of a scarf is to knot and wear out, I can appreciate both of those factors. I also understand why this would be different than what is just done to sleep. However, all of these studies still did not answer the question. is this real? So I did a few tests before deciding to keep it to myself. The first way I tested it was to test its crispiness. It definitely has a crunchy finish, almost crunchy compared to other fabrics. Then I did a rub test. When rubbing on silk, it should heat up, which happened with this fabric. I can't say anything about the folding test. It has wrinkles from stacking and I haven't washed it yet. But it has a good drape and flow, and new folds don't last too long. Then I tried the simple test. I tested it under different lighting conditions, from LED to sunlight, and in each of them the light caused sparking and flickering as well as soft light diffusion. This happened in a similar way to how skin and hair refract light. Very diamond. After doing all this and getting used to it, I decided to keep it to myself. I took off the tag and burned the thread that was attached to it and I can tell that this part was plastic. This again made me feel uneasy about its authenticity. So I decided to take my thread cutters and cut off the smallest piece from the innermost part of the rounded edge to test it out... Look, IT'S REAL! Hooray! He smelled like burnt hair, and the resulting clump turned slightly to ash, not at all like a label. I am happy with my purchase. I recommend this and will probably get more.
