Review on Efficient Cleaning with OXO SteeL Soap Dispensing Palm Brush by Seth Gomez

Revainrating 1 out of 5

It didn't last more than a few months.

I bought this because I've had it for many years and liked using it to wash dishes. One of the tabs that attaches the brush to the dispenser (on the old original model) broke, so ordering a new one was easy. When I received it I noticed that the new dispenser could not be attached to the brush heads like the old version. The older version had ribs on the sides that slipped into the brush head and you had to twist it a quarter turn to lock it in place. The newer version has a pin that comes out of the center, it's threaded, and you screw the brush head onto the dispenser. When I saw it, I knew it was going to be a disaster, and it was. Brush heads are still made to fit both the original dispenser and the new one. We used the new one for a couple of months, then the stick with the filaments broke off and now the brush heads don't even stick to it. Now it's completely useless. The design of the new style is not well developed. The pressure on the B-pillar during use is too great, so it didn't last long. I am very disappointed with this OXO product. I love the brush heads and find them very well made, but the new style dispenser lacks quality.
